Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using the ASANKA platform operated by TECHAiDE Ltd. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account. Institutional accounts must be created by an authorised representative of the institution.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.
Account Registration
To access certain features, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials confidential.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@techaide.global.
Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms and your applicable subscription plan, TECHAiDE grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for educational purposes.
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content on the Platform without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, server, or network
- Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features
- Use the Platform to transmit unsolicited commercial communications
- Sublicense, sell, resell, or commercially exploit the Platform without our express written consent
Subscription Plans and Payment
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and included features are described on our Subscription Model page. Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in your subscription agreement.
TECHAiDE reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice to institutional subscribers.
Content and Intellectual Property
5.1 TECHAiDE Content
All content provided by TECHAiDE on the Platform including text, curriculum materials, software, graphics, logos, and device firmware is owned by TECHAiDE or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute TECHAiDE content without prior written permission.
5.2 User-Uploaded Content
Where the Platform allows you to upload content (e.g. custom lesson materials on Pro and Enterprise plans), you retain ownership of that content. By uploading content, you grant TECHAiDE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Platform services.
You warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this licence and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TECHAiDE disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TECHAiDE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TECHAiDE, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of any third-party rights
- Any content you upload or submit to the Platform
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably determine to be harmful.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so, including but not limited to Sections 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law in your jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
For significant changes, we will endeavour to provide additional notice such as an in-platform notification or email to registered users.
